Christmas is coming!!!

This is an envelope I made to go in my A5 planner for Christmas. It is made with Fun Stampers Journey "Sleigh Ride" stamps and dies. Fussy cutting is not my favorite thing to do.

I used mostly Fun Stampers Journey products for this but the envelope flap was cut with a Tim Holtz Sizzix On the Edge die and the brads were some I had in my stash. Santa's sleigh and the reindeer are on Journey Foam Squares, I used red and whip cream washi tapes and the patterned paper is from the Christmas Cheer prints.

I love how it turned out.

Scrappin Frenzy

I had a wonderful and productive time this weekend at Scrappin Frenzy. This is an annual event held at the Pecos River Conference Center, what a beautiful setting to scrapbook or make cards in.

It is put on by Kim Ballard, Raeleen Reed and Leanna Bell. The prizes (door prizes and challenge prizes) are awesome, the food is fabulous and camaraderie is unbelievable, you get to see old friends and new friends you haven't met yet.  I will be going back next year. Thank you Kim, Raeleen and Leanna!!

Class cancelled for October 25

We will not be having class on October 25, the line dancers at NMSRC are holding their Halloween party that day. Our next class will be on November 1. We are going to be making a Thanksgiving card with dry embossing.

It will be very similar to this card.

Card for October 18

Hello,
This is the card we will be making in class on October 18. It is the only Halloween card we will be making this year. It is made with Fun Stampers Journey products, which I love.
We will be heat embossing and learning how to use watermark ink to make a background.

If you are interested in the class it will be Wednesday October 18 at 10:00-12:00 at the North Mesa Senior Recreation Center.

Sunflowers card

This is the card we will be making in class on Oct. 11 at 10:00am at the North Mesa Senior Recreation Center. We will be using Pan Pastels and learning to make a double bow out of twine (it will be a soft green not brown). I love using Pan Pastels you get such a soft look with them.

I hope to see everyone in class on Wednesday.
