So glad it's the weekend.

This has been a crazy busy week. It seems like every day this week I have had to go some where. Weeks like this keep me so messed up, I don't even know what day of the week it is most of the time (of course since retirement I usually don't know what day of the week it is).  It has been a good week though.

We went to the rally in Lorenzo, TX over the weekend. It was a small rally to celebrate the 5th anniversary of Cowboy Trikes and More. It was very good to see Larry and Judy but they were so busy we didn't get to visit much.

This is a Mo Manning image What's Cooking she is colored on Cryogen cardstock with Copic markers.


The card base and light blue are cardstock from my stash.  The dark blue is SU Not Quite Navy cardstock, the patterned paper is from TCP Studio So Delish-What"s Baking and Utensils (I used the reverse side the red with yellow polka dots). The ribbon is SU apricot.

I colored her with Copics:

Another weekend is already here!

Well, I did not complete another card this week, it seems my migraines are back.  I have had one a week, every week for the last 3 weeks and I always have a day after when I feel like I have a hangover from the medication I take for them.  So usually I have 2 days I can't do anything or really just don't feel like doing anything.

I received my Sizzix Big Shot Pro on Wed. but haven't played much.  I did try to make one of the Tim Holtz grunge paper roses yesterday but it really doesn't look anything like his.  Maybe next week I will feel like playing with it some more.  I did not realize all of the adapters I would need to go from the Cuttlebug to the Pro, so I am waiting on several orders (every time I thought I had ordered all I needed I found out I needed another adapter for something to work) to come in so I will have all of the adapters and of course, I ordered some of the Pro dies to try out.

We are going to Lubbock for the weekend, no cooking, no cleaning (yeahhh) just relaxing, shopping and enjoying the weekend.  We are going on the trike since we are going to a rally for Cowboy Trikes and More, it is their 5th anniversary of being in business and we haven't seen Larry and Judy in a while.

Well, I guess that's about all for this morning since I need to get up and pack.  I hope everyone has a great and safe weekend.

I'm finally back!

Well, it seems so long since I have posted with a card, I hope I remember how. I have been coloring on this for a while, I just could not seem to get it right.

This is a Magnolia stamp "Cool Edwin" he is colored with Copics on X-Press-it cardstock and the car "Tilda's Summer Car" is colored on Cryogen cardstock.

Skin E000, E00, E21, R20; hair E31, Y23, YR23; shirt C00, C1, C3; pants B91, B93, B95, B97; shoes C3, C5, C7, C9, R27; the car is colored with R22, R24, R27, R29, C00, C1, C3, C5, C7, C9, E31, E33, E35. I used Crystal Accents on the windshield, mirror and tail lights. The card base is SU Brilliant Blue cardstock, the red is SU Real Red, the striped is The Paper Studio "All Seasons" 6x12 paper and the jean is just some older paper from my stash. I used a Nestabilities Deckled Rectangle and Classic Rectangle, and the gems are from my stash and colored with Copics to match. Both images are pop-dotted on the card.

Happy Monday!

Well, I don't have a card to post but thought I would let everyone know that I am healed up from the bug bites and am able to color again. I have started on some images but haven't finished anything or made a card yet.

I will be going to the funeral of a friend's Father tomorrow, Wed. I have a four hour meeting at the DWS so I can learn how to look for a job (that should be fun). I wanted to go to Hobbs one day and Roswell another day this week to talk to someone at Hobby Lobby about teaching a Copic card class but I guess that I will only go to one or the other this week.  I am going to try to go to Pecos, TX this Sunday with a friend (Kiki) to see another friend (Sally, who has a birthday soon), now this will be fun. So what started out as a slow day has turned into a busy week.
