Happy Halloween!

Well, I seem to have my holidays out of order. Yesterday was Christmas today is Halloween, this seems sort of like my life, all jumbled up and out of order.

As you read this I should be on the way to Roswell to the Harley shop. We are having the lock on the trunk of the trike repaired. So I hope this posts correctly.

I am entering this card in the following challenge:

This is a digital image, Gossmere, from Tiddly Inks (love the images they have), it is printed on Copic X-Press it cardstock and colored with Copic markers.
The card base and patterned paper is from my stash. The ribbon is Studio G, the bling is Studio G, the flowers are Prima Lilliput roses, the rose leaves are punched with a MS punch and the bottom of the patterned paper is punched with the MS Drippy Goo punch. Gossmere is cut out with a Spellbinders Deckled Rectangle. The edges of all of the papers have been inked with Tim Holtz Old Paper Distress ink.

 I colored Gossmere with Copics. Skin E000, E00, E11; hair C9, C7, C5, C3, colorless blender; clothes V0000, V01, V12, V15, V17, YG23, YG 21; wand E33, E31, E81.

This makes two in a row

I finished another card and wanted to post it. I hope to keep posting at least every other day now.  I should be at home for a while before we are off and running again (to Sacramento, CA for the Intermediate Certification Class WooHoo!!).   Plus I need to be home with my male ferret, he had surgery yesterday to remove some growths.  We won't know what they are until the middle of next week but the poor little guy has stitches on his head, his shoulders and one hip.  He looks really bad right now.

I will be entering this card into the following challenges:
Sketch N Stash -Free Choice Sketch Sketch #5

This is a Magnolia image Santa's Helper Tilda. She is stamped on Cryogen cardstock and colored with Copic markers.
I also used the Magnolia Jolly Ornaments and Merry Christmas stamps on this. The cardstock and patterned paper are from my stash (I think the paper is from a Bo Bunny Christmas collection from several years ago). The ribbon is some I got at my LSS, the holly leaves and swirl bling (colored with YG97) are from Michaels (Recollections), the ornaments have Stardust and Gold Stickles on them, the Merry Christmas is stamped with Tim Holtz Distress Ink in Fired Brick then heat embossed with iridescent embossing powder.  Tilda's fur trim is done with Marvy Liquid Applique then covered with Stardust Stickles.

The Copics I used to color Tilda are: E000, E00, E11, R20, R35, R37, R39, C00, C1, E33, E37, E47. I did not write down (or I can't find) the colors I used for the ornaments.

Well, if I plan on getting another project done, I need to get off the computer and into my studio. So I hope every one has a great Friday. See you tomorrow (I hope).

Delo

I'm back!!

What a week this has been. I am finally feeling back to normal after having that tooth extracted. I went to the endodonist on Monday the 12 and my dentist on the 13th to have the tooth pulled. Well on Friday I was still in sever pain so I call the Dr. office from Ruidoso and they told me I had dry socket. This is the first time I have ever had this after having a tooth pulled and I do not want it again. That is one of the most painful things I have ever had. Today is the first day I have felt like doing anything so I am posting a card I finished today.

I will be enter this card in the following challenges:
Kenny K's Krafty Girlz - All Time Favorite Kenny K
Through the Craftroom Door -Photo Inspiration with the Color Green
Totally Gorjuss - Nothing Square About Me

This is the card I made I love this image and it is my favorite Kenny K right now, it is Val Ventura.  I colored Val on Neenah Solar White cardstock with Copic markers. The card base is a hand cut oval and I made it into an easel card.

 This is my first attempt at coloring a sheer fabric and I am pleased with the way it turned out. The Copics I used are: E0000, E000, E00, E11, E21, R20, E23, E35, E27, E40, E41, E42, E97, E99, C00, C1, C2, C3, C8, W00, W1, YG93, YG95, YG97, RV00, R81, R83, R85, Y11, Y21, G05. I also used Spica Silver and Pink on her.
I cut the image out with Spellbinders Label 10, I also used the Sizzix 3-D Flower, Martha Stewart Butterfly punch.  I inked the image while still in the die with Tim Holtz Spun Sugar Distress Ink, I inked the edge of the olive cardstock and the patterned paper with TH Old Paper Distress Ink. The bling on her necklace is colored with RV19, the pearls are Viva Decor Pearl Pen in Cream, the foliage is a Magnolia die. All of the papers are from my stash so I don't know what they are.

This is a close up of the greeting which is hand written. The rose is misted with a homemade mist of Perfect Pearl powder and Bubblegum refill ink.

I really enjoyed coloring this image. I love all of the Kenny K digital stamps. I think these SteamPunk stamps rock! Just have to get the rest of them.

I hope everyone has a great day and rest of the week.

Delo

Slowing to a dead stop!

Well, it looks like the fast lane just slowed to a stop. I haven't completed anything else, so I am posting a card that will not go into any challenge. I wanted to post something this morning since I have an appointment with the dentist at 10:00 to have a broken tooth extracted. I may not feel like posting later today.  Thursday we are leaving for the Golden Aspen motorcycle rally in Ruidoso so I know that I will not get anything posted later this week.

This is another Halloween card I did just because. I love Halloween it has always been one of my favorite holidays.  This image is a digital Mummy Trevor I got the image from All That Scraps. He is colored on Cryogen cardstock with Copic markers. The cardstock and papers are from my stash. I used several Sizzix dies for this. The Spooky Fence, Hunky Dory alphabet, RIP headstone and the bats are from the Sizzlits strip die of bats. I used Lime Green Stickles on the letters and Yellow Stickles for the bat eyes. I also used black glitter on the RIP.

Trevor is pop dotted and so are the fence and large bat. I used some Copic markers on the headstone to make the cracks stand out more.

Once again I can not find the list of Copics I used on this image, it is written on the same paper as the one for Witch Emma from the other Halloween card.

I hope everyone has a great day and rest of the week. Have a safe and wonderful weekend!
Hugs,
Delo

A Happy Birthday Card

I don't know where the week has gone. I think having my hubby at home Fri. through Mon. has really made my weeks short. I don't know about most of you ladies but when he is here, he wants me to be right with him a lot of the time or he wants to be on the go all of the time. I love him but I don't know about this retirement and being together all of the time.

I finally finished a card to post.  This is a sliding pop up card that uses a luggage tag as the pull out.
I will be posting this on the following challenges:

Magnolia Stamp Lovers -Primary colors
Papertake Weekly Challenge -Anything goes
A Spoon Full of Sugar -Party time
PaperPlay Challenges - 2 or more images
Through the Craftroom Door -Fun with textures

The images are Magnolia minis Tilda Pirate, Edwin Pirate and Barrel and Skull; Tiddly Inks digital the Treasure Map and Pirate Fun. All of the images are colored with Copics.

This is the outside of the card it is made with cardstock and patterned paper from my stash and I have no idea which company makes them. The flowers are made with two Sizzix dies TH Tattered Florals for the small flower and the roses are made from the 3-D Flower die, the smaller of the two. The foliage is made with the MS Branch punch and Sizzix's Branch and Leaves die. The bling in the centers of the flowers and the card front are from Studio G and Jolee's. I cut the Happy Birthday with a Nestability Deckled Rectangle die and all of the edges of the card, greeting and flowers are inked with TH Old Paper or Frayed Burlap Distress Inks.

The inside of the card before pulling the tab.  You can see the tab at the bottom with the ribbon attached.

This is the inside with the tab pulled, it raises the images up. I pop dotted the skull and treasure chest as well as Tilda and Edwin. The sand at the bottom has jewels of all kinds on it. I took some of the Studio G bling and colored them with Copics, I also used a Viva Decor Pearl Pen and made pearls on the beach. You can see the skull on the pull tab in this picture, he has Crystal Accents added to him. The trees and bushes on the treasure map have flowersoft on them.

This is a close up of the images. The palm tree were hand cut without a pattern.
I used the following Copics on all of the images.
Tilda and Edwin E000, E00, E21, R20, E31, E35, Y23 ,E41, E43, E44, R81, R83, R85, E47, C7, C3, B91, B93, B95, B97, G12, G20, R22, R24, R27, R29, G40, G82. Map, skull, jewels and treasure chest E40, E41, E81,Y28, Y32, G05, G12, YG05, YG61, YG63, V12, V15, V17, C00, C0, C1, C2, C3, C5, BG10, BG11, R29, E31, E34, E35, B69. There are probably some I missed but this is most of them. I had so many markers on my desk I did not have room to work. LOL  I also used Stickles in Gold, Silver, Orange, Yellow, Diamond and Stardust.

This is looking down with the tab pulled out. If I had thought about this I would have stamped something in the blank space behind the images. Oh well, this is the first of this card but probably not the last so I learned something from making it.

This is the sentiment I stamped, and you can really see the skull now. This is from the Magnolia mini Barrel and Skull image without the barrel.

I found the instructions for this card on You Tube. The instruction were by UKmaryanne. Her blog is Scrappy Sticky Inky Mess  She has some great videos and I will be going back time and again to see them. The pop up slider cards she made are amazing. It is well worth the time to watch.

Well, I guess this does it for me today. I hope everyone has a great rest of the week and weekend.

Delo

Happy Weekend!

Well, I finally got another project finished. I have several in the works right now and should be finishing some of them soon.
This project is a small album made with one 12x12 sheet of cardstock, the embellishments and cards inside are mostly scraps I used.

I am entering this in:
CMC Copic Challenge Group - Fall or Halloween themed
Magnolia-licious Highlites -Fall or Back to School

The image is a Magnolia stamp mini Jam Tilda. She is colored with Copics on Cryogen cardstock. I used a sheet of CM cardstock for the album and the patterned paper is CM Harvest Bounty, I have used both sides of the patterned paper. I cut out two of the leaves from the paper and pop dotted them for Tilda to have something to sit on. The binding is also the CM Harvest Bounty paper.

The Copics I used on Tilda are: skin E000, E00, E21, R20; hair Y35, E33, E31; dress, socks and hair ribbons Y38, Y35, Y32; lace N0, N1. I put Stardust Stickles on her hair bow and her lace.

The album has a belly band made from the CM Harvest Bounty paper, the matting behind Tilda is SU Barely Banana with the edges inked with Cat Eye Tangerine.

This is the first two pages inside, each pocket has a small card (these are made with Bazzill cardstock) to add pictures or journaling or whatever. I used some of the same CM paper to add to the pockets and I used an old Fiskars border punch (I don't remember the name).

I hope everyone has a great rest of the holiday weekend. Make it safe but have fun.
Hugs,
Delo
